Members of the California Historical Society receive exciting benefits to encourage their exploration of history and art. Two new programs offer reciprocal access to other museums in California and around the country: Members at the $75 level and up will participate in the Passport to California History. This new program offers free or reduced admission, and other discounts, at over 100 museums and historical societies around the country. California partners include the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, Golden State Museum, Japanese American National Museum, Maritime Museum of Monterey, and San Diego Historical Society. Members at the $125 level and up will participate in the Passport to California History and also the Golden Passport to Art, offering free admission and discounts on store purchases at over 80 fine arts museums across the U.S. and Canada. In California, participating museums include the Asian Art Museum, COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts, Oakland Museum of California, Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Jose Museum of Art, Skirball Cultural Center, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
