Obtaining copies of pages
or articles
Over 500 libraries and historical societies throughout the United States
and other countries have California History in their collections.
For a list of these agencies, please check
the location nearest you. The interlibrary loan service at your local
public library can also obtain the copies for you. Text of quarterly articles
is not available on-line.
Reference designations
Numbers after an entry (i.e. "California flag, 13: 47-48")
refer to the following: California flag in Volume 13 of the quarterly,
California History, on pages 47-48. This does not mean there is an entire
article on this subject - it is often merely a short mention of the topic.
A long series of numbers (i.e 104-138) will generally refer to an entire
article on the subject.
Many
issues of California History are available topurchase.
